still have a big decision to make – FINDING YOUR DREAM WEDDING DRESS!

You have to analyse every detail and it has to fit your tastes and personality.
But where do you find the dress that meet all these needs?
Angelo Bridal welcomes you to visit us at our iconic

the opportunity to discover your own style and to find the wedding dress that perfectly
matches your personality and desires.
We are passionate about every single detail from start
to finish, offering you a touch of elegance, prestige and individuality through our beautiful
collection of wedding dresses. Here are the main questions that brides have for us in advance
of their appointments:
Where is your store?
Come and visit us at 38 Dorset Street Lower, Mountjoy, Dublin 1, D01N8X2 !
Do I have to book an appointment?
You can book an appointment online via the ‘book online’ tab on the website. You can also
call us on 01 7277123 to book an appointment or to ask us about the dresses. You can also
contact us at info@angelobridal.ie. Booking is essential if you would like to visit us.

Do you charge a fee for appointments?
Our weekday appointments are free, weekends are €25. Additional visits are €50 each. This fee is deducted from your dress when you choose it.

When is the best time for me to buy my wedding dress?
It is advisable that you get your wedding dress about a year to a year and a half before the wedding to allow you plenty of time for it to arrive from the designer and be altered to fit you perfectly.
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
We can comfortably seat 4 guests in store. You may bring more if you wish but bear in mind that the store might be a little crowded. We also find that if a bride brings a large entourage it can be stressful on the bride having so many opinions given to her all at once. We also recommend not to bring small children to the appointment as they can be distracting to the bride and to her guests and there are a lot of delicate items in store which they could damage or hurt themselves with.

Can I take pictures or videos?
Photography and videography is not permitted in the shop on any device with the exception of photos or videos with our 'Say Yes' sign.
How can I order a dress and how long does it take?
We encourage our brides to come in and try a sample of the dress in person before buying it. If you love it and would like to purchase the dress we will order it for you. It takes between 6 and 9 months to get the dress into store depending on the designer but it may be possible to get it in a little sooner. Make sure to take into account that most wedding dresses require alteration and to allow an extra 6 to 8 weeks to have the dress altered.
My wedding is coming up soon and I don’t have time to order a dress. What do I do?
We have a selection of ‘off the rack’ dresses available in store. Many of these dresses are not on the website so it is essential to come into the store to try them on.
What size are the sample dresses in store? I’m worried they will be too big/small for me.
We have samples from size 8-28 available to try on. If you try a sample which is too big, we have dress clamps and pins on hand to help to give you an idea of how a dress might look in your size. If the dress is too small you can try it without fastening the back. Please see our gallery of ‘Our Brides’ on the website or the ‘Angelo Brides’ highlights on our Instagram to give you an idea of what different styles look like on different body types.
How will I know what size to order? What if the sample I tried was much too big or too
small for me?
We will take your measurements and compare them to the designers size chart and let you know which size we recommend. Bear in mind that bridal sizing is different to high street sizing so your bridal size might be a few sizes up from your usual size. If you are planning to lose or gain weight and want us to order a different size from the recommended size you may do so at your own risk. If you are planning on losing a little weight before the wedding we
can take the dress in during alterations instead of ordering a dress in a smaller size so you aren’t putting yourself under too much pressure.
If I find a dress I love, do I have to pay for it in full on the day?
We require a 50% deposit before placing an order for any dress and you will need to sign an order contract. It is up to you whether you would then like to pay the balance in monthly instalments or in full once the dress arrives in store. It is essential that the dress is paid in full prior to beginning alterations. We can also take deposits on dresses purchased ‘off the rack’ but the dress must remain in store until the balance is paid. You may also pay for your dress in full if you prefer and we can take payments over the phone as well.
What if I find a dress I like during my appointment but I’m not sure if I want to buy it
yet?
You are welcome to book a follow up appointment to retry any of the dresses in store. Retry appointments are subject to availability and cost €50 each. Please bear in mind that if you liked one of the off the rack dresses, we may not have it in stock anymore and designers discontinue styles all the time, especially after they have launched a new collection. To avoid disappointment, please make sure to check with us to see if we still have the dress you love before booking a follow up appointment.
What do I do if the dress I purchased needs to be altered?
Almost all wedding dresses need alteration. We offer an in house alterations service for all our brides and bridesmaids where our tailor will be able to advise you on what alterations are required and ensure that your dress is a perfect fit. We recommend beginning alterations 6-8 weeks before the wedding to ensure that there is plenty of time to attend multiple fittings. Most brides require 2 to 3 fittings to ensure a perfect fit but sometimes more fittings are required. Alterations are not included in the cost of the dress so make sure to budget for them. We will be able to provide you with a rough estimate of how much they will cost when you try the dress on.
I love a dress by a designer that you work with but I see that you don’t have a sample of
the dress in store. Can you order it for me?
If you really love a dress from one of our designers and we don’t have it in store, we can order it for you if it is a collection that is accessible to us and still in production.
How do I know that all of the dresses presented on the site are authentic?
Angelo Bridal is an authorized and legal representative of major international brands, for which all rights are reserved. Rest assured that if you visit the official sites of any of the designers we work with that you will find us as authorized distributors.
Do you stock shoes and accessories?
We stock a selection of veils, tiaras, hair clips and shoes. Some are available to purchase 'off the rack' and some need to be ordered in.
