Welcome back to our weekly Angelo Bridal blog! This week saw the arrival of our much anticipated Elena Novias collection. If your wedding is coming up soon and you don't have time to order a dress, don't fret, all of these affordable new styles are available off the rack as well as on order! Book early to avoid disappointment as we expect them to sell quickly ahead of the busy summer season. This collection features lots of pretty, feminine details and there are a variety of silhouettes to flatter every body type.
Style 400
Style 400 is made from soft satin material and features sleeves which have satin material to the elbow and lace with beaded details and button fastenings to the wrist. The back of the dress features a stunning illusion panel with intricate lace detailing and beadwork. It also has a plain train which can be accessorised to great effect with a long, lacy cathedral veil. There is also a detachable belt with delicate beads to finish off the waistband. This modest, round necked style is the perfect choice for a winter wedding or for a religious ceremony with a strict dress code. As the dress has such a high neckline and long sleeves, very few accessories are needed. Silver stud earrings and and matching silver hair piece will complement the silvery beadwork in the dress and complete the look.
Style 422
Style 422 is a princess ballgown with a twist. This dress features a tulle skirt which is full but lightweight and a small, plain train. The structured, corseted bodice is made from soft satin and features beautiful embroidered lace detailing with sequin and bead decoration. There is also a scatter of pearlescent beads along the midriff of the dress and the lace peeks our over the sweetheart neckline for 3D effect. The back of the dress is fastened with a romantic, lace-up corset back, making it easy to adjust to your perfect size. The most eye catching detail are the off shoulder straps which feature a fringe of sparkling beads which cascade all the way to the elbow. This dress calls for a glittering crown or tiara to complete the princess look and can also be worn with a subtle necklace to soften the bareness of the neckline.
Style 419
Style 419 is a soft romantic gown featuring an illusion v-neckline, lightweight tulle skirt with lace appliqués , lace bodice and button back. The embroidered lace throughout the design is unembellished for a more subtle look, with the exception of the glittering belt which is finished with beads, sequins and pearls. The dress has an internal corset which is slightly visible through the mesh at the back of the bodice, creating an unusual cutout effect beneath the buttons. This dress has no train and the hem is reinforced with a horsehair trim to keep it off your feet, making it a great choice for a smaller or outdoor wedding. The dress can be easily accessorised with a short, plain veil, statement earrings or for a more boho look would look great with a band of real flowers added to the hair.
Style 434
Style 434 is a chic satin gown with a bateau neckline, small train and an adjustable lace-up corset back, The waist features a wonderfully intricate embroidered lace belt embellished with subtle, clear beads. This dress has lots of options for accessorising due to its classic cut. Statement earrings or a pretty bracelet could add sparkle to the look and a veil with a beaded edge will complement the waistband of the dress beautifully. The high neckline and low back are also beautifully complemented by an elegant and intricate updo.
Style 408
Disney princess meets disco queen in Style 408. This lightweight ballgown is covered in waves of shimmering silver sequins and is finished with a delicate, detachable beaded belt. The structured bodice features a plunging illusion neckline, underarm cutouts and thick straps. The back is low cut and fastened with an adjustable lace up corset. The dress has no train and is reinforced at the hem with a horsehair trim, making it an ideal dress to dance the night away in. A matching veil is available upon request to complete the look. Few other accessories are needed but long silver earrings and a sequinned veil topper could complement this dress well.
Style 418
Style 418 is an ultra sophisticated mermaid gown with a full tulle skirt, reinforced with a horsehair trim. The fitted bodice features a sweetheart neckline with illusion lace straps, floral lace detailing and is decorated with shimmering clear sequins. The waist is finished with a delicate beaded belt and the back of the dress is fastened with buttons and a concealed zip. The dress also has a short train. This dress is best accessorised with a long plain veil or a veil with a horsehair trim to match the hem of the dress. A hairband or veil topper with floral detailing will also match nicely in with the floral lace pattern on the bodice.
