Welcome back to our weekly blog! If you have been following our socials you will already know that we have received a brand new collection of beautiful plus size wedding dresses from Bianco Evento. These affordable dresses are ideal for budget weddings and are all available to purchase off the rack for last minute brides. Bianco Evento wedding dresses are extremely popular for summer and destination weddings as the skirts are made from soft, breathable chiffon and light tulle. They are known for their soft lace patterns with minimal embellishments which won't irritate the skin. There are eight beautiful designs to choose from, here are four of our favourites!
Aurelia
Aurelia is a soft chiffon a-line style featuring a corded lace bodice with an illusion sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and an illusion button back. There is a row of delicate, clear sequins along the waist, cuffs and neckline of the dress which gives it a subtle shimmer. This modest style is perfect for religious ceremonies with strict dress requirements but is light enough to wear in the height of summer. To complete the traditional look, a double tier veil with a scatter of tiny Swarovski crystals will complement the shimmering sequins of the dress.
Debora
Debora is a beautiful boho gown in soft tulle featuring trendy bishop's sleeves finished with pretty lace cuffs which match the lattice-effect waistband. The semi sheer, embroidered lace bodice features clear sequins which give the dress a slight shimmer. The skirt has a multitude of tiny pleats, creating the effect of long legs and a short train at the back. To complete the hippie look, add a headband made from lace, pearls or flowers to the hair, wear comfy bridal sandals and consider natural makeup and an intricately braided hairstyle.
Natalie
Natalie is a beautifully structured gown with a light chiffon skirt, high waistline, illusion v neck and classic cap sleeves. The lace detailing in this dress is truly exquisite, fusing floral and geometric designs for a modern look. The cap sleeves end in peaks finished with delicate eyelash lace creating a leafy effect. The boned bodice and thick waistband provide lots of support for a larger bust and draw attention to the smallest part of the waist for an ultra flattering silhouette. There are lots of ways to accessorise this versatile design. A long veil with a lace edge will add detail to the plain train the plain train and shoes with lace detailing will match the bodice of the dress and will create a pretty effect peeking out from the hem.
Serena
Serena is a champagne and ivory gown featuring a retro paisley lace bodice and gathered tulle skirt. The two tone effect of this dress allows the lace detailing to really 'pop' against the champagne bodice and tulle skirt. The illusion bateau neckline allows you to show off your collar bones and is a great choice for brides for whom modesty is a priority. Champagne dresses are a great option for paler brides who feel 'washed out' by ivory or white or brides who want a less traditional bridal look. It is advisable to pair two tone dresses like this with an ivory veil to match the lace instead of a champagne veil to match the tulle and bodice of the dress as layering champagne over champagne can cause the veil to look faded or dirty. Gold or rose gold accessories such as hair clips, tiaras and earrings pair well with the warm tones of this dress.
